Here are the photos from our Singer Castle weekend in 1000 Islands NY. We had an amazing time as you will see!
Heather was our model Bride and she looked so beautiful with the castle as the backdrop.
This is us hanging out in the main guest room. This part of the castle is newer than the original sections and was added at a later date.
We also hung out on the front entrance. It was a beautiful night to be outside.
The caretaker – Scott, just had to get in on the photo!
Here are a few interior shots of the castle. It was unbelievable that we were able to roam around and have unrestricted access to everything. Even though SOME of us were too afraid to roam too far 🙂
We were served dinner in one of the dining rooms. We laughed so hard I don’t know how we managed to eat anything.
We had breakfast the next morning and Kimi and Josh decided it was time to dance! Tani and Heather are STILL laughing.
Here are some family shots in front of Tani’s house.
Of course we can’t forget it was Leah’s Birthday – she wouldn’t let us 🙂
It was also nice to see Dusty’s family and we all enjoyed the baby!
Finally, we HAD to go to Stony Brook to make Kim happy – but it was really beautiful and brought back so many memories.
I made a new cake this week. This is a 20 year work anniversary cake. It’s supposed to look like Paper Quilling.
And last weekend we shot a wedding at Stroudsmoor and the bride ordered a cake from the famous ‘Ace of Cakes’ and JEFF DELIVERED IT!! I was totally star struck 🙂 He was very nice and seemed just like he is on the show. And yes Mom, that’s a’ Winnie the Pooh’ wedding cake.
We shot a wedding in Vegas Saturday March 5th. Here’s our Bride and Groom Katie and Dustin (Katie is Jad’s neice).
The Wedding was beautiful and it was great to meet Jad’s family.
I’ll post a link to all the wedding pictures as soon as John has them posted on our Stroudsmoor website.
Here’s a few pics from the reception:
Jad and his brothers and their wives –
The rest of the time was VACATION!!!
That’s really me and Tania jumping in front of that sign at about 6:00 am on our way to the Grand Canyon.
I think we look pretty excited considering it was SO EARLY!
We visited the famous Pawn Stars shop on the Strip –
These pictures are from a day at Red Rock Canyon which is the mountain range to the West of Vegas.
Here are a few random images – this guy was sitting just outside our hotel, at least he’s honest 🙂
And this bride was not one of ‘ours’ but she was walking along the shopping gallery of a casino in her dress and John caught this shot.
What a great time we had – I won more than I lost and shared amazing time with family.
Thanks for playing 🙂
